Washington Commanders News: Sights and Sounds from Training Camp Day 6

The Washington Commanders are back on the practice fields of Ashburn for Day 6 of training camp. The pads came back on Wedensday morning. Washington wore pads for the first time on Monday, and several vets had rest days on Tuesday, along with Ahkello Witherspoon unexpectedly retiring.
There are only five practices scheduled to be open for all fans, but those tickets sold out quickly. There are also several days open for season ticket members to watch the team prepare for the new season. There has been a lot of turnover on the roster and coaching staff since last year’s disappointing 5-12 finish. Dan Quinn has new coordinators on both sides of the ball with David Blough taking over the offense and Daronte Jones installing his scheme on defense.

*Tress Way is on the non-football injury(NFI) list due to a pec injury. Way, along with CB Trey Amos(fibula injury, PUP list), will be reassessed tomorrow to possibly get cleared to return to practice.
