Princess Eugenie dresses her newborn daughter in royal-approved baby label founded by Crown Princess Marie-Chantal of Greece

Princess Eugenie echoed the news with a simpler post, reading: ‘Jack and I are so excited to announce Baby Girl Brooksbank!! We are beyond in love with our girlie.’

The couple dressed the newborn in an adorable pink babygrow and patterned hat by Marie-Chantal, the royal-approved childrenswear label founded by Crown Princess Marie-Chantal of Greece. Both the hat and the onesie are adorned with angel wings – the signature Marie-Chantal motif.

Surely there are few people as well-qualified to design must-have childrenswear. Marie-Chantal shares five children with her husband, Crown Prince Pavlos of Greece, whose father, King Constantine II, was the last King of Greece. He was a first cousin once removed of Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh.

Crown Princess Marie-Chantal and Crown Prince Pavlos are friends of Eugenie and Jack and attended the couple’s royal wedding in October 2018 alongside their eldest daughter, Princess Olympia of Greece.

There is every chance Eugenie and Jack were inspired by her sister, Princess Beatrice, who chose a Marie-Chantal blanket for the Instagram post announcing the arrival of her younger daughter, Athena, in January 2025.

At the time, Crown Princess Marie-Chantal said it was a ‘treat’ to see little Athena wrapped in one of her blankets. Speaking to Tatler, Crown Princess Marie-Chantal of Greece said the blanket, which is from her angel wing collection, is ‘one of her favourite’ pieces. She explained, ‘It’s always such a treat when I see a picture of my brand on a family member, a friend or a customer.

‘What a delight to see baby Athena wrapped beautifully in my angel wing cashmere blanket. It’s one of my favourite pieces in my angel wing collection and I send all my congratulations to Princess Beatrice and her beautiful family.’
