Emergency services descended on a street in Salford this morning as a man sadly died.
Police and paramedics were called to the scene near Whit Lane earlier today (Monday, August 3). A cordon was put in place on Auckland Drive.
A Greater Manchester Police spokesperson confirmed officers were called to reports of a man suffering from a medical episode. The man, aged in his 50s, sadly died.

No further details have been released at this stage. A GMP spokesperson said: “We were called to reports of a medical episode. Emergency services attended and despite best efforts, a man in his 50s sadly died.”
