Saskatoon police say a 41-year-old man is dead after a workplace accident Wednesday afternoon.
Police were called to an industrial accident in the 3000 block of Meadows Parkway shortly before 2:00 p.m.
The man had been working on a construction site when he was struck by a piece of heavy equipment.
He was pronounced dead at the scene, according to a police news release.
