The A38 has closed in both directions after a serious collision.
Devon and Cornwall Police said it was called shortly before 10:00 BST on Thursday to reports of a crash between two cars and a motorcycle on the A38 near Lee Mill, Devon.
Police said the motorcyclist had suffered serious injuries.
It added road closures were in place covering both the carriageway and slip roads and National Highways said an air ambulance was en route. National Highways added the road was likely to be closed for several hours for investigation works.
