According to Downdetector, users are having problems with Tumblr, which allows people to post blog content.
Downdetector reports the problems started popping up just after 12:30 p.m. and there were more than 2000 complains made about the app being down.
The site says 43 percent are having problems with the app, another 30 are having issues with the website.
There is no timetable for when the issues will be resolved.
