PLATTSBURGH, N.Y. (WCAX) – Police in Northern New York are warning residents to be on alert for a suspect in a deadly arson who is believed to be armed and dangerous.
Thomas David Ryan, 32, of Greenville, is wanted in connection with a homicide investigation in Orange County. Police found a man dead inside a home in Greenville after a fire Thursday night. They say the fire was deliberately set and the death is a homicide.

Police say Ryan is known to frequent the Plattsburgh area.
He is described as approximately 6 feet 2 inches tall and 200 pounds. Police say he is believed to be driving a 2016 gray Toyota Prius with New York license plate HNH7671.
Investigators say do not approach Ryan. Call 911 if you see him.
