Exclusive: See the Official ‘NANA’ Cover Featuring Vivienne Westwood For The Manga’s 25th Anniversary

We’re all still absolutely reeling over the mesmerizing new collection that Vivienne Westwood presented this past weekend during Paris Fashion Week, but there’s one new piece that is coming out this upcoming season that didn’t walk down the runway. And if you’re a big fan of the iconic manga NANA, then you know this is truly been a long time coming!

Cosmopolitan can officially reveal that in honor of the manga’s 25th anniversary, NANA creator Ai Yazawa has illustrated a new cover design in collaboration with Vivienne Westwood. The exclusive NANA 25th Anniversary Edition, Vol. 1: Vivienne Westwood Edition collectable cover features Nana Komatsu and Nana Osaki wearing iconic Vivienne Westwood designs. Not only is the cover absolutely a match made in heaven, but the special edition also features plaid sprayed edges that match the pattern on Nana Komatsu and Nana Osaki that are also seen in the standard edition of the 25th anniversary re-release.

Vivienne Westwood has long been tied to NANA after eagle-eyed fans saw noticed pieces inspired by the fashion house within the manga and anime. Since then, fans have been getting their hands on their own pieces IRL to channel their favorite characters.
