Despite being open about being trans, Zelah has chosen to share his personal story with select few housemates.

Facing eviction with Gani as they awaited the public vote, the 25-year-old addressed the group, saying: “I’ve genuinely had the best f***ing time here.

“If I do go, don’t forget about me by week seven.”

Jenny, who was sat with the other housemates on the sofa, yelled out: “We won’t.

“I’d say, ‘where’s the transgender‘.”

The comment left Zelah stunned.

His co-star Caroline – who was one of the housemates he had confided in about his transition – sternly said: “Did she just say that?”

Another housemate was heard asking: “Is he trans?”

Caroline told Jenny: “Oh for God’s sake, they didn’t know. We’ll talk about it after.”

Jenny explained she hadn’t realised Zelah’s story wasn’t known by all known housemates.

Pulling him aside later in the evening, Jenny told him: “I’m really f***ing sorry. I didn’t know that everyone didn’t know.”

Zelah said: “OK. I don’t think it came from a malicious place.”

Jenny cut in, adding: “I didn’t mean it. It wasn’t from a bad place at all.”

Viewers reacted to the difficult moment, with one writing: “Love Jenny but that was such a weird thing to say I’m sorry.”

Someone else added: “Oh Jenny. I feel bad for her but also Zelah because that must’ve been hard for him to have the others find out like that.”

Another said: “Oh Jenny. It wasn’t malicious but it was very thoughtless.”
