Yankees star was caught yawning in middle of playoff game

The 162-game Major League Baseball season is a long one. Add the postseason, and one might consider it tiresome.
In Game 3 of the AL Division Series on Tuesday, Yankees infielder Jazz Chisholm was caught yawning after Toronto Blue Jays outfielder Daulton Varsho singled in a run in the third inning.
Given how the Yankees started the game off — they trailed 6-1 by the time they finished retiring Toronto in the third — can you blame Chisholm?
For much of the game, the Yankees looked as if they were headed for a Division Series sweep by the Blue Jays. In the last two innings, they’ve made things interesting, crawling all the way back and tying the game on a mammoth Aaron Judge home run in the fourth inning.
Just six postseason games into these playoffs, Judge has already set postseason career highs in hits (11), a 4-RBI game (tonight), and a 3-hit game (also tonight).
Chisholm has had an interesting couple of weeks. After losing Game 1 of the AL Wild Card Series to the Boston Red Sox, he turned his back on reporters while conducting a post-game interview.
After that game, he returned to his Manhattan residence and found a way to get over his manager not starting him in the Yankees’ playoff-opening loss.
Sitting at his gaming station, the All-Star second baseman played “MLB: The Show” until 3 a.m.
Away from the ballpark, Chisholm relaxes by challenging other gamers from “around the world” and says he wins almost every game.
“I sit there and talk trash,” Chisholm said.
If the Yankees can squeak past the Blue Jays on Tuesday, Chisholm won’t need to trash-talk a few gamers to feel better.
Judge’s heroics will have made things a lot better. They’ve certainly jarred Chisholm awake — for now.
