Qalibaf: The Iranian Nation Will Not Compromise on Territorial Integrity

WANA (Oct 08) – Iran’s Parliament Speaker, Mohammad Bagher Qalibaf, condemned the claims made in the joint statement of the Persian Gulf Cooperation Council (PGCC) and the European Union (EU) foreign ministers, asserting that “the Iranian nation will not show the slightest leniency toward anyone delusional about Iran’s territorial integrity.”
Speaking on Wednesday, October 8, Qalibaf strongly rejected the “interventionist and baseless” assertions in the PGCC–EU joint statement, including what he called “the absurd repetition of claims” over Iran’s three islands—Greater Tunb, Lesser Tunb, and Abu Musa—stressing: “Iran’s territorial integrity has been signed and sealed with the blood of hundreds of thousands of its brave youth, and the Iranian nation will never compromise on it.”

“Israel Has Become the Most Hated Regime in the World”
Referring to the second anniversary of Operation Al-Aqsa Storm, Qalibaf said the operation, carried out by “the brave sons of the Palestinian nation under the leadership of Hamas,” not only dealt a strategic and technical blow to Israel but also “disrupted the calculations of global arrogance,” pushing Israel “into a quagmire of defeat” and destroying its plans for the future of the Middle East.
He added that despite Israel’s “shameless U.S.-backed aggression,” which has “killed tens of thousands of Palestinians, devastated Gaza, and assassinated figures such as Seyyed Hassan Nasrallah, Seyyed Hashem Safi al-Din, Ismail Haniyeh, and Yahya Sinwar,” the resistance front in Palestine, Lebanon, Yemen, and Iran “has endured and turned Israel into the most hated regime in the world.”
Qalibaf noted that Israelis “have lost their sense of security,” with optimism among residents of the occupied territories about security, the economy, and social cohesion “plummeting to roughly one-third.” He cited official data indicating that reverse migration from Israel has tripled compared to immigration to the occupied territories.
October 7: The Day That Set Israel Back 70 Years
WANA (Oct 07) – Two years have passed since Operation al-Aqsa Storm—an assault that shattered not only Israel’s security barriers but also its narrative about itself. Now, on the second anniversary of October 7, Tel Aviv and its allies are facing a persistent question: Was this the beginning of Israel’s end? In the fall […]
“Hamas Is Now Forcing Its Demands on Israel”
According to Qalibaf, Hamas “has not been eliminated but is now imposing its demands on Israel.” He said the regime “has moved from normalization efforts to becoming the primary threat to the region,” while Hezbollah’s “military resilience and successful operations have deprived Israel’s army of sleep.” Yemen’s resistance, he added, “has denied peace to Israel’s ports and airports.”
He continued, “Two years after Operation Al-Aqsa Storm, Israel is facing an existential crisis. No matter how hard Netanyahu tries to mask this with psychological operations, he cannot hide the truth.”
“The Geography of Resistance Has Expanded Worldwide”
Qalibaf praised “the courage and strength” of movements such as Hamas, Islamic Jihad, Hezbollah, and other resistance groups across the region, saying the geography of resistance now stretches “not only from Gaza, Sana’a, and Beirut but to Sydney, Berlin, Barcelona, Madrid, London, Amsterdam, Toronto, and even American universities.” He added that “global boycott campaigns against Israel are now widespread, and the proud global fleet of steadfastness has become a symbol of universal resistance.”

“Operation Al-Aqsa Storm Shattered Israel’s Image”
Qalibaf concluded by stating that Operation Al-Aqsa Storm “shattered Israel’s image of dominance,” accelerated global “de-Americanization,” and strengthened international solidarity with oppressed nations while “ending the project of normalization with Israel.”
He emphasized that Iran’s Parliament, representing “a justice-seeking nation,” reaffirms its “full support for Palestine” and calls on international organizations “to prosecute the crimes committed by the Israeli regime.”
