Dolly Parton’s sister has said she “didn’t mean to scare anyone,” after calling for people to pray for the 79-year-old country star, who has been experiencing health challenges.
Earlier on Tuesday, Freida Parton had posted: “I was up all night praying for my sister, Dolly. Many of you know she hasn’t been feeling her best lately.” She went on to ask all of her sister’s fans “to be prayer warriors and pray with me,” adding, “with all the prayers being lifted for her, I know in my heart she’s going to be just fine.”
