West Ham United women’s team v Brighton & Hove Albion | All You Need To Know

During the summer, 13 players departed Brighton, including last season’s joint top-scorer Nikita Parris and defender Poppy Pattinson, who both signed for divisional rivals London City Lionesses.
Topping the bill of the eight arrivals was the loan of Arsenal’s Michelle Agyemang for the second successive season. The 19-year-old enjoyed a stellar summer with England, playing a starring role in their UEFA Women’s Euro 2025 triumph as she scored crucial late goals against Sweden and Italy to help them to the showpiece against Spain.
Another arrival to the south coast was goalkeeper Chiamaka Nnadozie, who also shone on the international stage over the summer, helping Nigeria clinch their tenth Women’s Africa Cup of Nations title.
Brighton also signed defenders Moeka Minami, Maelys Mpome and Manuela Vanegas Catano, midfielder Fuka Tsunoda and forwards Carla Camacho and Rosa Kafaji.
Previous Meetings…
The two teams only last met on Sunday 21 September at Broadfield Stadium, when the Seagulls ran out 4-1 winners in the Barclays WSL.
When the sides last faced off at Chigwell Construction Stadium, Skinner’s side were emphatic 3-1 winners after goals from Shekiera Martinez, Riko Ueki and Viviane Asseyi. But at the AMEX last November, Brighton edged to a 3-2 victory, with Fran Kirby scoring the winner after a Katrina Gorry brace brought the Hammers back on level terms.
Of the 20 meetings between the sides, the Seagulls have won eleven, whilst the Hammers have won six.
