Hyundai to recall over 135,300 US vehicles due to fire risk from improper starter motor wiring

Oct 8 (Reuters) – Hyundai Motor (005380.KS), opens new tab is recalling 135,386 Santa Fe vehicles in the U.S. due to fire risk from an improperly installed starter motor increasing the risk of an electrical short during a crash, the U.S. National Highway Traffic Safety Administration said on Wednesday.
