Luke Combs to play at Owen Field on May 9

Sources confirm to News 9 that country music superstar Luke Combs will hold a concert at the University of Oklahoma’s Owen Field on Saturday, May 9.
Details of the show, including when tickets will go on sale, will be released at a later date.
Combs is the highest-selling country music artist of all time, recently surpassing Oklahoma native Garth Brooks’ record of more than 20 years.
The “Ain’t No Love in Oklahoma” singer released The Prequel album last week with three new songs, “My Kinda Saturday Night,” “15 Minutes,” and “Days Like These.”
Although sources didn’t state the purpose of the concert, Oklahoma State University hosted the “Boys From Oklahoma” concert series last April to benefit the school’s Name, Image, and Likeness (NIL) fund.
That event drew more than 200,000 fans and generated significant revenue for OSU.
