Murrayfield Then and Now: St Andrew Square Public Exhibition now live

To celebrate the 100th Anniversary of Scottish Gas Murrayfield Stadium, Scottish Rugby have teamed up with Essential Edinburgh at St Andrew Square to showcase the history of the stadium and our teams to the masses, right in the heart of the city.

The square that usually serves as a Fringe festival venue or a Christmas market hot spot, will now be adorning 14 photo-led exhibition panels on its outer gates. These panels break down the rich history of Murrayfield and how the stadium and the iconic events held within its own gates have changed over the years.

From October 1st – November 12th Scottish Rugby fans, general public and visitors to the city can take time as they stroll past and into the garden to read through the Murrayfield Then and Now exhibition.

Grab your family and friends and head down to the North East (nearest to St James Quarter) and South West (nearest to Rose St) entrances to the St Andrew Square garden to learn more about the sporting events and beyond that have taken place at the home of rugby in Scotland, plus take a chance to reflect on your own Murrayfield memories.
