Lori Loughlin and Mossimo Giannulli’s Split Is Set to ‘Get Ugly’ Amid New Romance Rumors (Exclusive)

Lori Loughlin’s separation from Mossimo Giannulli is “shaping up to be messy,” a source tells the National Enquirer.

“They both checked out of the marriage a long time ago,” says the source, adding that the pair “never really got over the shame” of their involvement in the infamous Operation Varsity Blues college admission scandal.

After pleading guilty to conspiracy to commit fraud, the Full House alum, 61, served two months in prison in 2020, while the fashion designer, 62, was locked up for five months before being released in 2021.

“That put a wrecking ball through their world — they went from being these very outgoing and social country club types in Malibu to complete recluses,” says the source.

Loughlin’s rep confirmed to People that “they are living apart and taking a break from their marriage” on Friday, October 3, but said there are “no legal proceedings at this time.”

But TMZ reported on Wednesday, October 8 that Loughlin is still living in L.A., while Giannulli is spending more time at their home in Sun Valley, Idaho. And the source insists they’ve both moved on.

“By the looks of it Mossimo’s devolved into a full-blown mid-life crisis,” says the source, noting that the father of two was spotted out with a much younger woman on Thursday, October 2.

And while the G/FORE founder insisted to TMZ that she’s just a stylist working on a photoshoot for his golf brand, the source says, “it’s embarrassing and Lori’s telling people she’s glad she won’t have to deal with it from now on.”

For her part, Loughlin was also seen out with former costar James Tupper and “swears he’s only a friend,” adds the source.

“But Mossimo doesn’t buy it. There’s zero trust left and when they have to divide up their $160 million fortune, there’s no way it doesn’t get ugly — it’s already started.”
