This is a dead rubber in terms of qualifying from Group J with hosts Kazakhstan having picked up only three points from five outings and Liechtenstein pointless from five fixtures and still searching a first goal of the campaign.
Kazakhstan’s sole success came with a 2-0 win in Liechtenstein in March and, having scored both goals before the break and dominated the shot count 16-3, they will fancy recording an even more comfortable victory on home soil at the Astana Arena.
Liechtenstein are extremely limited, with their only goal in their last nine internationals coming in a 3-1 defeat to San Marino, and they have lost their last four matches by at least three goals. Belgium bulldozed their way to a 6-0 success and North Macedonia swatted them aside 5-0 in their last two World Cup qualifiers.
