Spain to win & over 3.5 goals

World Cup qualifying, 7.45pm Saturday
Following June’s Nations League final defeat to Portugal, Spain beat Bulgaria 3-0 and routed Turkey 6-0 last month to remind everybody just how potent they are when at their brilliant best.
And Saturday should see Luis de la Fuente’s rampant La Roja land another confident victory when hosting Georgia, who must be sick of the sight of Spain, having faced them at Euro 2024 and qualifying for both that tournament and the 2022 World Cup.
Unsurprisingly, Spain have run riot in most of those meetings. A narrow 2-1 victory in March 2021 has been followed by 4-0, 7-1, 3-1 and 4-1 thrashings and La Roja look set to best the Crusaders in a thriller again.
Spain’s last seven matches have produced a total of 37 goals and with six of those games seeing over 3.5 goals land as a winning bet, it seems likely the same selection will hit alongside a La Roja win for the fifth straight head-to-head.
