The emergency services rushed to the scene of a reported stabbing at a Hollywood Hills residence, which U2’s lead singer Bono has invested in. Los Angeles Police Department launched an investigation after receiving a 911 call at 1.20pm (local time) on Thursday.
Police cars were seen parked at property’s entrance in pictures circulating online. A fire engine and an ambulance were also deployed to the scene and a helicopter was recorded circling the Hollywood area.
The stabbing has not been confirmed and it is understood the property is an active construction site with only builders at the scene. TMZ reported Bono was not involved and was not in the country at the time of the alleged incident.
The frontman of U2 is just one of many investors in the property, according to reports. His stake in the stunning property was first revealed in November 2023.

The home is understood to be for sale with sources in the property industry suggesting it is being shown to buyers off market.
The sprawling mansion high up on a hill overlooking West Hollywood’s Fairfax Avenue means it is visible to commuters heading to Hollywood Blvd.
The home is being designed by architect Noah Walker and developed by Plus Development Group, a firm co-founded by Tyrone McKillen, who is the son of Bono’s billionaire business partner, Paddy McKillen.
It’s not clear what it could potentially sell for, though other properties in the area, as well as ones with the same development teams behind them, have notably sold for eye-watering amounts.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, one such property was one that Scooter Braun purchased for $65 million in 2021, which was located in Brentwood.
