2 stabbed at Switzer Learning Center in Torrance, police say

TORRANCE, Calif. (KABC) — A suspect was taken into custody after two staff members were stabbed at a school in Torrance Monday morning.
Torrance police said the incident happened at Switzer Learning Center, a nonpublic school that specializes in educating students with learning differences, according to the school’s website.
The two victims were rushed to the hospital in critical condition.
Video from AIR7 showed what appeared to be a backpack and knife on the ground near the school, located on Amapola Court.
