UPDATE: Power restored after storm causes outage for thousands in San Luis Obispo

UPDATE (8:23 p.m.): PG&E reports that power has been restored for all but one customer.

PG&E is reporting a power outage affecting more than 3,400 customers in the San Luis Obispo area.

According to PG&E’s website, it is an unplanned outage caused by the storm passing through the Central Coast.

It was first reported at 6:22 p.m. on Monday.

PG&E says once crews are available, they will begin to inspect and make repairs.

The estimated restoration time is not yet known.
