Rain is expected frequently this week, but winds are forecast to slow down in the coming days.
Overnight on Tuesday, the minimum air temperature will be -1 to +4 C in most of Latvia and +5 C to +8 C on the coast, while daytime temperatures will warm to +7 C to +13 C, with occasional rain in many parts of the country. North-westerly, northerly winds will become slower, gusting to around 10 metres per second only on the coast.
Temperatures will be slightly warmer over the next few days, with night-time lows of +2 C to +9 C, afternoon lows of +8 C to +13 C, and even +14 C to +15 C on Thursday in parts of Kurzeme. It will rain daily in parts of Latvia.
At the end of the week, there will be less chance of rain, with clearer skies more often, but it will get a bit colder. Maximum temperatures will be +6 C to +12 C in the afternoons and -2 C to -3 C at night and in the mornings, and up to +5 C to +8 C on the coast.
