Barbie Ferreira couldn’t be happier to be a part of the 2025 Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show.
The former Euphoria actress, 28, exclusively opened up to Us Weekly about her “pinch me” moment before strutting down the catwalk in Brooklyn, New York, on Wednesday, October 15.
“I kind of feel like I have entered a different dimension, and then I will kind of go back to the regular dimension after the show,” she explained. “But if not, then that’s super sick. If this is the real dimension.”
When it comes to her sizzling hot look, Ferreira teased to Us that it’s “so cute.”
“I was truly gagged,” she said, recalling the first moment she saw her outfit. “You don’t know what you’re gonna wear. And I was like, ‘Are they gonna put me in underwear?’ They did.” When asked how she was feeling about putting her curves on display in sexy lingerie, Ferreira cheekily replied, “Let Jesus take the wheel.”
Ferreira already has some runway experience under her belt, as she walked in a California State University show “about 10 years ago.”
“This is my second runway,” she explained. “My friend Mark Sebastian helped me in L.A. [to perfect my walk]. He used to be a big runway model, and so he was coaching me. And then I had help here. So I’ve been practicing a lot.”

She added, “Modeling has always been fun for me. It’s nice to model while being an actor is a little bit different.” Ferreria, a breakout star from the hit HBO show Euphoria, continued, “I love acting. I love being able to sell like a character. And that’s what modeling is, too. Usually the character, with modeling, is a little sexier, though.”
Ferreira’s character, Kat Hernandez, notably loved to push style boundaries with her sheer tops, exposed bras, fitted pants and leather looks. While the actress made a mutual decision with the show’s creator, Sam Levinson, to exit the series after appearing in seasons 1 and 2, she told Us that she “sure will” be watching season 3 when it premieres in 2026. Ferreira also shared that she’s still close with the cast.
“I just saw Maude [Apatow] and Sydney [Sweeney]. They came to my [Mile End Kicks] premiere at TIFF. I went to see their movies at TIFF. It was so sweet,” she gushed.
Ferreira explained why she decided not to continue her character’s journey in April 2023 while chatting with Dax Shepard on an episode of his “Armchair Expert” podcast, per Los Angeles Times.
“I think my character, who I love dearly, I don’t think there was a place for her to go,” she explained. “I really wanted to be able to not be the fat best friend.”

She added that she and Levinson, 40, had a hard time finding “continuation of her” character.
“I just felt like maybe I had overstayed my welcome a little bit,” she said. “I [knew] that what would happen would be something that wouldn’t fit into the show — it wouldn’t do her justice, so might as well leave on a high, do my own thing.”
