On Saturday afternoon, the Boston College football team will host their New England rival UConn Huskies at Alumni Stadium for an October clash. It’s only game #7 for the Eagles, but their season has already totally collapsed. UConn, on the other hand, has a winning record and is looking for their 2nd-ever victory over BC.

Prediction: UConn 31 Boston College 23
I can’t predict BC to win, even against UConn. The Eagles have looked so utterly terrible the past two weeks on both sides of the ball. UConn has a solid offense that should be able to take advantage of the depleted BC secondary. Even if Turbo or Lonergan (or Reisig or James) is able to do some damage on offense, I don’t believe in the BC defense’s ability to get a stop.
