Donald Trump humiliates CNN reporter as speech turns tense: ‘Not you!’

Things turned tense when Donald Trump refused a question from CNN, calling them “fake news” before turning to another reporter, reigniting his long-running feud with the network. During a press conference on October 16th in the Oval Office, President Trump made an announcement from the White House after speaking with Russian President Vladimir Putin, ahead of his planned meeting with Ukrainian President Zelenskyy. Trump told reporters that he “might have to speak to Russia” first before giving Ukraine access to Tomahawk missile systems, claiming he would use the threat of the missiles being deployed to Ukraine as a bargaining chip of some kind.
When he took questions from the press, he shut down a CNN reporter who tried to speak to him, to which Trump said: “I didn’t say you — you’re CNN — fake news.”
The clip has since gone viral on X, with many viewers commenting on the interaction. One person said in the comments section: “I love him if I was ever in office this would be me and I wouldn’t care if I get elected again.”
A second also chimed in: “Classic Trump energy, won’t waste time on fake news. Cuts straight to the point, no sugarcoating.” A third also argued: “He’s a big toddler. I cannot believe people actually like him.”
A fourth also furiously said: “Obama would’ve gotten crucified for this.” Someone else echoed: “This is the worst President I’ve ever seen, something needs to be done about how he treats people. If he came to my home I would ask him to leave.”
This isn’t the first time that Trump has experienced conflict with the media, especially CNN. During a conference streamed via the White House YouTube channel earlier this month, one point captivated the attention of viewers at home, as Trump later paused the interview.
When answering questions from reporters, one of them spoke and Trump said: “This is CNN speaking by the way. This is one of the worst reporters that you’ll ever see.”
In the midst of his brutal takedown, he then swiped his hand and said: “I don’t even want to take a question, it’s a waste of time.” He then moved on and pointed to the next person.
