Erin Andrews built her reputation and wealth on the sidelines of America’s biggest stages after turning years of live reporting, personal resilience, and fearless reinvention into a career valued at around $30 million. But her story goes far beyond the broadcast booth, shaped by hard-earned successes across sports, entertainment, business, and survival.
Andrews is one of the most recognized sideline reporters in sports. She first rose to national prominence at ESPN, where she became a fixture on College GameDay, Saturday Night Football, and coverage of the BCS National Championship.
At a time when women were still fighting for equal visibility in sports media, Andrews became one of its most trusted voices. In 2012, she left ESPN after a contract dispute and joined Fox Sports, where she took over as the network’s lead NFL sideline reporter and host of Fox College Football.

Her debut Super Bowl assignment came in 2014, setting the tone for a new era in her career that would eventually see her covering Super Bowls LI and LIV while becoming synonymous with the network’s broadcast identity. She crossed over into entertainment, co-hosting Dancing with the Stars and, most recently, “99 to Beat,” the game show on FOX.
The pairing drew wide praise for balancing charm and professionalism, helping the show remain one of television’s most-watched live programs.
Andrews’ personal resilience was put to the test behind the glamour.
In 2016, a routine annual exam revealed that Andrews had cervical cancer. Within weeks, she underwent two surgeries to remove the cancerous cells. Her second procedure was successful, allowing her to avoid chemotherapy and radiation. Just days later, she returned to her role on Fox’s NFL sidelines.
That decision became one of the defining moments of her life. “There was no way in hell I was going to miss my games, because that’s where I felt the most normal,” she said.

Her transparency about her diagnosis and recovery transformed her into an advocate for women’s health and early detection.
She went on to work with companies like Aflac for its “Get Body Checked” campaign and became a spokeswoman for Hologic, a leading women’s health organization, using her platform to encourage regular screenings.
Andrews began dating former NHL player Jarret Stoll in 2012. They got engaged in December 2016, the same year she beat cancer, and got married the following summer.
They tackled an emotional fertility journey that eventually welcomed their son, Mack, via surrogate in 2024.
Throughout it all, her work remained steady after she launched WEAR by Erin Andrews in 2018. The women’s sports apparel line, in partnership with Fanatics, rapidly expanded into the NFL, NBA, NHL, and college markets and was prominently featured during a Chiefs event.
Andrews also co-hosts the “Calm Down” with Erin and Charissa podcast with fellow broadcaster Charissa Thompson.
