Bianca Censori will ‘need to spend a hell of a lot of money’ to make her new career work

EXCLUSIVE: Bianca Censori is believed to be planning on launching her own fashion brand, with PR expert Kieran Elsby sharing his thoughts on whether it will be a success

Bianca Censori has made a name for herself thanks to her risqué and barely-there outfits and it’s believed she will soon be launching her own fashion line.
The 30-year-old, who is married to Kanye West, teased her latest career move with the launch of her very own website. The site, titled BIANCA, was shared on her Instagram page but only has a sign-up form listed on it for now, with the tease, “Coming December 11.”
Fans have been busy speculating about what the new project might be, with many agreeing it will likely be something to do with clothing. However, PR expert Kieran Elsby has a warning for Bianca as he suggested she is unlikely to be able to rival the likes of Kanye’s ex-wife Kim Kardashian, who is the face behind the hugely successful SKIMS brand.

Speaking exclusively to The Mirror US, Elsby explained why the brand might not be as successful as Bianca is hoping. “Her public image has largely been built through association, she’s not a standalone brand in the way Kim Kardashian or even Kanye are,” he explained.

The expert continued, “Launching a label takes more than shock value, and right now, that’s been her only worth.” He suggested that while her looks have “certainly been memorable,” they are often “more headline-grabbing than wearable.”
“If she’s genuinely stepping into design, it’ll be interesting to see whether she can pivot from barely-there statements to clothes women actually want to wear,” Elsby admitted. “I’ll give her credit if she’s finally putting some actual clothes on.”
He also suggested a possible reason why Bianca is seeing now as the perfect time to launch her fashion line. “It almost feels like she’s had a payoff and now wants to turn that into a brand,” he told us.

Elsby added, “If that’s the plan, she’ll need to spend a hell of a lot of money to make people take her seriously in the fashion world.” He concluded, “Right now, though, this feels more like a vanity project than a commercial brand.
“I don’t see it rivaling SKIMS at all, Kim’s built an empire built in relatability, while Bianca’s fashion has been about provocation. That doesn’t necessarily translate to consumer sales.”
