Wealthy travelers fuel luxury hotel growth
Andrew Satkowiak expected a vacation slowdown this year.
But his clients are traveling to Miami and New York, Europe and the Caribbean, sending inquiries soaring by 15 percent. A typical hotel stay for such travelers now ranges from $1,500 to $2,500 per night, up from about $900 before the pandemic, according to Satkowiak, executive vice president at the Luxury Travel Agency in Nashville.
