Kelsey Grammer has just become a dad of eight!
The 70-year-old “Fraiser” star announced the news on an Oct. 27 episode of Danielle Fishel, Will Friedle, and Rider Strong’s “Pod Meets World” podcast.
He shared with the hosts that he and wife Kayte Walsh, 46, ”just had our fourth one,” bringing his brood to eight kids.
“It was like three days ago,” Grammer said. “Christopher that’s just joined the family.”
Christopher joins Grammer’s three kids with Walsh — daughter Faith, 12, and sons Gabriel, 10, and James, 8. Grammar also shares a daughter, Spencer, 41, with his first wife, Doreen Alderman. He is also a father to daughter, Greer, 33, whom he shares with his second wife, Barrie Buckner.
Additionally, he shares daughter Mason, 23, and son Jude, 20, with“Real Housewives of Beverly Hills”alum and third ex-wife, Camille Grammer.
The news broke that Grammer would be having baby No. 8 in June.
In an interview with People in May, Grammer talked about being a father of seven and how he may not have been as present in his kids’ lives as he would have liked.
“I have neglected a couple of the kids in my life, especially the first two,” Grammer told the outlet. “I’m trying to make up for a little of it now. I’m still their dad, so you can always have [a] chance to show up.”

He also noted that he’s become a stricter parent over time. “I probably should have been a little more clear and maybe less tolerant with the older ones,” he said. “I’m pretty tolerant with the young ones, but I’m clear about how there’s certain expectations and certain ways to navigate through a social situation: keep it close to the vest and play it straight, and you’re going to be well-served in your life. I’m a little more specific with them about doing their studies and being prepared. [I tell them], ‘What’s your job in life? Showing up.’”
Grammer met Walsh, a former flight attendant, while traveling to London in 2009. At the time, he was still married to Camille. The downfall of their marriage was portrayed during Season 1 of the “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.” He married Walsh in 2011.
