Giannis, knee, out for Warriors visit to Milwaukee

MILWAUKEE — Bucks star Giannis Antetokounmpo will not play in Thursday’s game against the Golden State Warriors.

Antetokounmpo had been listed as probable on the team’s injury report with left knee soreness throughout the day, but he was a late scratch about an hour before the game.

This is the first game Antetokounmpo will miss of the 2025-26 season.

The Bucks are 3-1 after their first four games of the season with Antetokounmpo is averaging 36.3 points, 14 rebounds and seven assists on 69.5% shooting.
