Dodgers vs. Blue Jays World Series Game 6 live updates: Start time, lineups, news, predictions and odds

It’s called the Fall Classic, and every team hopes to be “playing in October” (although I know of one team who is hoping to play in November).
Returning to Canada and Game 6 on Halloween Night, this Fall Classic may very well be done in October. But if the Dodgers have anything to do with it, the 2025 champion will be crowned in November, which has happened just nine times before.
Counting tonight, there have been 704 World Series games played. Only 18 of those have been in the month of November, something that was unheard of until 2001.
That year the regular season was scheduled to end on September 30 but was pushed back a week to October 7 because of the tragic events of 9/11.
I was assigned to the World Series in 2001 and on the field when the Arizona Diamondbacks came from behind and beat Mariano Rivera and the Yankees in the bottom of the 9th of Game 7, becoming the first ever World Series champion in November.
Since 2001, it has happened eight more times. Will this year’s World Series be the ninth?
