You’ll be able to pick a peck of Pokémon during November’s Pokémon GO Community Day when Pikipek, the Woodpecker Pokémon, flies in to be the star of the day. On Sunday, November 30, from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. local time, Pikipek will appear more frequently in the wild. If you’re lucky, you might even encounter a Shiny one—or one with a Special Background! Trainers can evolve Trumbeak (Pikipek’s Evolution) during the event or up to four hours afterward to get a Toucannon that knows the Charged Attack Beak Blast.
But that’s not all! This event is also Piki-packed with bonuses.

During Community Day, complete Field Research tasks focused on catching Pikipek to earn rewards including Great Balls, additional encounters with Pikipek, and more. Some Trainers might even encounter Pikipek with a Tales of Transformation–themed Special Background.
Community Day Special Research is available for US$1.99 (or the equivalent pricing tier in your local currency). Trainers who complete this research can earn rewards including three encounters with Pikipek with a Tales of Transformation–themed Special Background, additional encounters with Pikipek, one Premium Battle Pass, one Rare Candy XL, and more.
