The Chicago Bears secondary are without one of its top performers against the Green Bay Packers in Week 14.
Kevin Fishbain of The Athletic reported the news just before kickoff in a game at Lambeau Field on Sunday, December 7 that will determine the NFC North Division leader with one month remaining in the NFL season.
Bears CB Kyler Gordon suffered a groin injury in pre-game warmups and is out.
“Bears CB Kyler Gordon suffered a groin injury in pre-game warmups and is out,” Fishbain reported via X.
Gordon, 25, has been snakebitten by injuries all season, playing in just three contests all year and starting just one game. He entered the season as one of the top slot cornerbacks in the league.
It is unclear precisely how Gordon suffered the injury, though it is worth noting that the temperature was just 16 degrees at kickoff and felt like 5 degrees with the wind chill.
