Sabres’ Zucker week-to-week with upper and lower-body injuries

Buffalo Sabres forward Jason Zucker is considered week-to-week after sustaining injuries during the team’s 7-4 loss to the Calgary Flames on Monday, head coach Lindy Ruff confirmed on Tuesday.

Zucker, 33, had 17:05 of ice time and recorded two assists and two shots with a minus-2 rating.
Ruff told reporters on Tuesday that Zucker played through some pretty significant injuries during the game and he will be out with upper and lower-body injuries.
The 5-foot-11 winger has been hot since the beginning of November, recording five goals and 12 points in his last 10 games.
He has nine goals and 18 points through 21 games this season.
Zucker joined the Sabres as an unrestricted free agent during the 2024 off-season and signed a two-year extension with the team worth $9.5 million in March.
Buffalo sits in last place in the Atlantic Division with an 11-14-4 record and is eight points behind the New York Rangers for a wild-card spot in the Eastern Conference.
