Tucker Wetmore Co-Hosts 5/16-17

The co-host this wknd is Tucker Wetmore, who’s in our Top 5 with Brunette. He was just named the ACM New Male Artist of the Year, and the awards take place Sunday night.
Tucker told Lon: “I am very blessed. All of the things I’ve been able to do, the goals I’ve been able to accomplish. It’s just a gift from above.
Tucker will perform on the show in Las Vegas: “I’ve definitely had some fun in Vegas in my time. Nowadays, my life is so crazy, that just adds to the craziness. There was a time in my life when we went to Las Vegas with a couple buddies, and we still tell stories about it.”
What’s your game of choice? “Blackjack. I also like ultimate holdem, where you’re playing the dealer. I also like regular Texas holdem, poker. Those are the usual games I play.”
Tucker began the year at Luke Bryan’s Crash My Playa: “It is nothing short of a party. It’s cool he wanted me to be part of it again, because we definitely did have a very good time. The last night we all got on stage with Luke.”
After Crash, Tucker went to Australia and Europe. He did some sightseeing in Ireland: “We spent an off-day in Dublin. I got to go to the Guinness brewery, which is awesome. We had way too many Guinness. I’ve been trying to sightsee when I can.”
Next up for Tucker is hitting the road with Hardy. We heard Tucker’s mom is a Hardy fan, and even went to his meet & greet: “I remember her calling after that. She calls and says ‘You won’t believe who I just met! Hardy! I’m in his meet & greet line.’ She also follows him & his wife on his socials. But I’m super excited about this tour.”
He spent last year on the road with Thomas Rhett: “I would say the catering on that tour was some of the best food I’ve ever had on the road. It was so good. It wasn’t prison food by any means. I was eatin’ good.”
Lon asked if he’s getting hate mail from blonds: “No I think the blonds are liking it as much as the brunettes. That’s a sigh of relief. I think everybody loves it.”
Tucker also has great stories this week about Jason Aldean, Jordan Davis, Dylan Scott, George Birge, and Thomas Rhett.
NEXT WEEK: Jordan Davis
