Taylor Swift Changes Lyrics to Two ‘Reputation’ Songs in Big Update to Sixth Album

Taylor Swift has surprised fans with an update to her album Reputation.

The Apple Music version of the album has been updated to Dolby Atmos sound and fans have noticed that two songs have some new lyrics.

Taylor released the album in November 2017 and it was the sixth album of her career. It also was the final album she released under Big Machine Records and she never released a Taylor’s Version re-recording.

One lyric change basically confirms that the song was inspired by Kanye West.

It has previously been reported that Taylor was inspired by the Game of Thrones characters Sansa and Arya Stark while writing “I Did Something Bad,” but fans have also noted that the song feels connected to her feud with Kanye.

In the first pre-chorus, Taylor previously sang, “If a man talks sh-t, then I owe him nothin’ / I don’t regret it one bit ’cause he had it comin’.”

The new lyrics are, “If a man talks shit, then I owe him nothin’ / If he calls me a bitch then he had it coming.”

You might remember that Kanye famously called Taylor a “bitch” in his March 2016 song “Famous” and it was his use of this word that played a huge factor in their feud.

There’s also a slight change to Taylor‘s song “Delicate.”

She previously sang in verse one, “Oh, damn, never seen that color blue.”

Now, Taylor is singing, “Goddamn, never seen that color blue.”

Right now, the lyric changes are only on Apple Music. It’s unclear if they’ll be added to other music streaming services too.
