Private Payrolls Hold Up

Private payrolls seem to have hit bottom, one of the more positive outcomes in the November jobs data.
There was a combined rise of 121,000 in private payrolls over October and November, a better-than-expected result, writes Stephen Brown, deputy chief North America economist at Capital Economics.
Private employers added 69,000 jobs in November and 52,000 in October. That’s in contrast to the ADP data, which found the private sector shed 32,000 jobs in November and added just 42,000 jobs in October.
