If you’re really in a pinch to buy stuff on New Year’s Day, consider shopping at Walmart or BJ’s Wholesale Club.
The two stores will operate on or close to regular hours, but it is best to check with each individual store as hours may vary.
Most drug stores, such as CVS and Walgreens, will also be open, should you need to shop for necessities.
