Greg Biffle plane crash | Holiday card arriving after former NASCAR driver, family killed in Statesville plane crash

STATESVILLE, N.C. (WTVD) — Today marks one week since former NASCAR driver Greg Biffle, his wife and two children, and three family friends were killed in a plane crash in Statesville.
The crash happened as the plane was returning to the Statesville Airport minutes after taking off.
Friends of the retired NASCAR driver are now reporting the family’s holiday card is now arriving in mailboxes.
The card features the family of four smiling, with the message, “We hope that you are able to slow down and enjoy the magic and joy that this season has to offer. We hope you have a great new year! Sending love, Greg, Cristina, Emma & Ryder.”
NTSB is investigating last Thursday’s crash. Investigators are also still trying to determine who was flying the plane at the time.
Three people on board the plane, including Biffle, had their pilots license.
