Marquette County Road Commission asks drivers to stay home

MARQUETTE COUNTY, Mich. (WLUC) – The Marquette County Road Commission is asking drivers to stay home and off the roads Monday morning.
MCRC Director of Operations and Maintenance Ross Olsen told TV6 Monday at approximately 6:30 a.m. that even commission employees were struggling to get into work, despite being well-equipped to handle heavy snow. He said the commission was having to send out available drivers in plows to get the rest of its employees into work.
Many side roads are still buried in heavy snowfall. For updates on the blizzard conditions, head to the TV6 First Alert Weather page.
