‘Severe disruption’ sparks three-hour delays at Channel Tunnel

Severe disruption is causing delays of more than three hours for Eurostar and Eurotunnel passengers.
The issue, caused by an overhead power line problem, is affecting services at Folkestone and St Pancras International.
There are delays of more than three hours on the Eurotunnel
Traffic and travel reporting specialists Inrix say the wait is up to three hours and 30 minutes.
Meanwhile, a statement on the Le Shuttle website states: “We are experiencing severe disruptions to our service due to an overhead power supply issue; services are delayed.
“We’re working hard to resolve this. Thank you for understanding.”
Some passengers have vented their frustration on social media.
X user @OceansDan said: “Is the 11:04 to Amsterdam cancelled or not? We’ve been booted out the queue with no word on what’s happening.”
