Shrewsbury Town have signed Brentford striker Iwan Morgan on loan for the remainder of the season.
The 19-year-old has been with the Premier League side since the summer of 2023, but has spent all his time playing for the club’s B Team.
He has scored 25 goals in 42 appearances across all competitions for what is effectively Brentford’s reserve side.
Morgan, a Wales Under-19 international, came through Swansea City’s youth system before making his move to west London.
His New Year’s Day transfer has come too late for him to feature against Bristol Rovers later the same day, but he will be available to face Salford City on Sunday.
