Baltimore Ravens waive former Georgia football OL

The Baltimore Ravens have waived offensive lineman Ben Cleveland, who is a former Georgia Bulldog. Cleveland played at UGA from 2016-2020 and is known for having an impressive combination of size and strength.
Cleveland was recently suspended three games for violating the NFL’s substance abuse policy, but had been a healthy scratch for Baltimore in recent weeks prior to his suspension. He was eligible to return for Baltimore’s clash with Pittsburgh in Week 18 to decide the winner of the AFC North.
Cleveland was a third-round pick in the 2021 NFL draft. He appeared in 10 games with the Ravens in 2025 and had been with the AFC North franchise since he was drafted. Cleveland and the Ravens made the playoffs several times, but were never able to make the Super Bowl during his time in Baltimore.
The 6-foot-6, 350-pound offensive lineman appeared in 64 games during his time with Baltimore, but he primarily played as a backup or on special teams. Cleveland will look for a new NFL home. In Feb. 2025, Cleveland was arrested for driving under the influence.
Cleveland’s combination of size and NFL experience means that he should find a new NFL suitor. With Week 18 in progress, he may not find a new NFL team until the 2026 season.
