Former TNA Star Makes AEW Debut

This TNA talent just made his AEW debut.
Ahead of tonight’s AEW Dynamite broadcast, Renee Paquette informed fans that JetSpeed, consisting of Kevin Knight and Mike Bailey, had been viciously attacked by “someone… or Something,” rendering them medically uncleared for trios tag team action later in the evening.
The camera then cut to Ricochet and Don Callis as they debated with Renee whether the incident was the result of a bounty or a gentleman’s agreement. Callis ultimately took over the interview and teased the arrival of a TNA talent, who was revealed to be Jake Something, or Jake Doyle, as Callis referred to him during the segment.
The segment strongly suggested that Jake Something and Mark Davis were responsible for taking JetSpeed out of active in-ring competition. For those unaware, JetSpeed had been scheduled to team with ‘Jungle’ Jack Perry against The Demand, consisting of Ricochet and Gates of Agony.
Jake Something’s contract with TNA Wrestling reportedly expired in December 2025, with earlier reports indicating that both sides had yet to reach a new agreement. Based on the clip AEW later shared on social media, Jake appears to have signed with All Elite Wrestling, though nothing has been confirmed at the time of this writing.
Jake Something previously competed in iMPACT Wrestling from 2017 to 2022 before returning to the company in 2023. He made his in-ring return at Slammiversary, where he competed in an Ultimate X match that was won by KUSHIDA.
