CHICAGO (WLS) — Former President Obama is inviting Chicagoans to come work for his Presidential Center.
The Obama Center in Jackson Park is set to open its doors later this year and its looking to hire more than 150 people for full-time jobs.
Obama says employees will serve as the public face of the center and will play a crucial role for the visitor experience.
“People come here we want them to feel what makes the South Side so special, the mix of warmth and grit, the sense of humor that can brighten any day,” Obama said.

There are a range of job opportunities available, including work in visitor experience, building management and security.
