It’s the second Saturday of 2026, and a new episode of Saturday Night Live is mere hours away. The most recent new episode aired on December 20, when third-timer Ariana Grande and Musical Guest Cher helped close out 2025. And this week, the show announced three exciting new first-time Season 51 hosts to ring in the new year.
Of course, there’s 50 seasons of SNL to stream on Peacock anytime, but it’s always nice to have something new to look forward to.

Is SNL new tonight, January 10, 2026?
No. The show is still on hiatus for the winter holidays, but only for one more week! Season 51 continues with new episodes on January 17.

Who is the January 10, 2026 SNL Host and Musical Guest?

The stand-up comedian made her hosting debut on November 8 her sketches included a pharmaceutical parody for celebrities who fear the Jennifer Hudson spirit tunnel, a truly unsettling karaoke performance, and the concept of “Beauty and Mr. Beast.”
Glaser also starred as Anna in “Pinwheel,” the sketch that had everyone on the internet going, “Pinwheel, Anna!”
20-year-old rocker sombr marked his first episode as Musical Guest by performing the songs “12 to 12” and “Back to Friends” from his first studio album I Barely Know Her.
The Season 51 episode also featured a surprise cameo from former cast member Pete Davidson. He stopped by “Weekend Update” to share an update on the ferry he and Colin Jost purchased together.

Who is the next new SNL Host and Musical Guest?
Finn Wolfhard and A$AP Rocky.
Just weeks after the series finale of Stranger Things, star Finn Wolfhard is hosting SNL for the first time. He’s the first of any of the Stranger Things kids to host, but he’s got a sweet connection to the show: He starred in the It movies as the younger Richie Tozier, played as an adult by longtime former cast member Bill Hader.
A$AP Rocky will perform as Musical Guest just one day after releasing his new album Don’t Be Dumb. It’s his first time headlining SNL, though he did make a brief cameo in the pre-taped sketch “Friendos” when Donald Glover hosted on May 5, 2018.
Wolfhard will be followed by Teyana Taylor on January 24 and Alexander Skarsgård on January 31.
