Circle K stabbing leaves man dead in Fayetteville on Cliffdale Road

FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. (WTVD) — A 23-year-old man was stabbed and killed Sunday morning at a Fayetteville gas station, according to police.
The Fayetteville Police Department responded to a stabbing at the Circle K on the 8000 block of Cliffdale Road just before 4 a.m.
Officers found Chris ‘Shawn Ahmad Sewell of Fayetteville in the parking lot with a stab wound. He was taken to Cape Fear Valley Medical Center, where he later died from his injuries.
Investigators determined that Sewell was involved in an altercation with Chaniece Natasha Starks, a 32-year-old store employee on duty at the time, which resulted in his death. Starks and Sewell were known to each other through prior interactions at the business.

Starks has been charged with first-degree murder and is being held at the Cumberland County Detention Center without bond.
This is an active investigation.
This comes after a man was stabbed and killed on Foushee Street in Durham Saturday night.
