Indiana lands defensive back transfer who played at Penn State, Georgia

Indiana football has added cornerback A.J. Harris in the transfer portal after playing the previous two years at Penn State, per ESPN’s Pete Thamel.

Harris, with three years of experience, was also pursued by Oregon and Missouri.

The former five-star recruit had a season-high 8 tackles the Hoosiers’ last-minute win over the Nittany Lions on Nov. 8.

  • 2023 at Georgia: 8 tackles
  • 2024 at Penn State: 48 tackles, 4 for loss, with 1 interception and 5 passes defended
  • 2025 at Penn State: 33 tackles, 1 for loss, with 1 pass defended and 1 fumble recovery
