Oilers activate G Tristan Jarry, D Jake Walman from LTIR

The newly acquired goaltender has been placed on the LTIR since Dec. 18, after sustaining a lower-body injury against the Boston Bruins. The injury came about a week after the two-time all-star was acquired in a trade with Pittsburgh.
In his three starts with Edmonton, the 30-year-old holds a 3-0-0 record with a .887 save percentage.
The team is also getting back Walman, who last played on Nov. 20. The defenceman has played in just 17 games this season, recording three goals and seven assists for 10 points.
Walman was acquired at the trade deadline last season, after which he posted a goal and seven assists in 15 regular-season games. He is expected to play against the Nashville Predators on Tuesday night.
In corresponding moves, Edmonton has placed forward Adam Henrique on LTIR, and has moved goalie Connor Ingram from emergency recall status to regular recall.
Henrique was initially placed on injured reserve on Jan. 7, and had a timeline to return after the Olympic break. With his updated status, the veteran centre won’t be eligible to return to the lineup until Jan. 31.
Ingram, who started the season in the AHL with the Bakersfield Condors, has now played in seven games with the Oilers, holding a 4-2-1 record with a .904 save percentage.
The Oilers now have three goalies on their roster, including Jarry, Ingram and Calvin Pickard.
